Offboarding

A step-by-step guide to what happens when employment ends at AZMX — from submitting your resignation through the Email to receiving your final settlement and experience letter.

The full journey

  1. 01
    Step 01

Submission of resignation through the Qiwa platform after approval from the direct manager and the HR team.

  2. 02

Your manager reviews and approves the resignation, then identifies who will take ownership of your ongoing responsibilities during the transition period.

  3. 03
    Step 03

The notice period begins as defined in your employment contract, in accordance with Article 75 of the Saudi Labor Law. If the party terminating the contract does not adhere to the notice period, they must pay the other party compensation equal to the worker's wage for the duration of the notice period.

  4. 04
    Step 04

One week before your final day: complete the handover checklist, document archival, asset logging, and bank clearance.

  5. 05
    Step 05

The final clearance and last settlement are sent to the employee. Once signed, the experience letter is issued.

Iqama responsibility

If the contract is terminated by the employee, the employee will be responsible for the remaining validity period of the Iqama if it exceeds three months.
